Description

Dredging plastic floater is be used for steel pipes and HDPE or steel pipe offering buoyancy. It is made in polythene float and closed cell foam. The outside diameter of HDE and steel pipe decide the PE floater inner diameter and the size of floater is be modified according to the buoyancy require.

The main feature is light weight,higher buoyancy, economical and recyclable, at same time the fast production is also an important feature of this dredging plastic floater.

Product details

The outer cover and inner filler are the majors components for dredging plastic floater. The production equipment and raw material quality decide the PE Floater quality. The connect fitting material is galvanized carbon steel or stainless steel if specified which is resistant to corrosion and self-rusting in seawater.

Inspection

We use modern technology to design and manufacture, and through rigorous field testing.
The following tests are to be conducted:
● Raw material test(inspection before entering warehouse)
● Floater dimension check including inner diameter,outside diameter and length
● Weight check
● Buoyancy check(if specified)
Our QC department will inspect each product and offer FACTORY INSPECTION REPORT before delivery.

Applications

Depending on the dredging development and limitation for construction site condition, PE Floater is widely be chose which it’s advantages are light weight and cheaper. At the same time, many shipyards such as IHC, DAMEN and Dredge Yard develop many types small detachable Cutter Suction Dredger(CSD), so the owner use HDPE pipe, discharge rubber hose and PE Floater to install together as the necessary dredging pipeline.
